…. Step into the enchanting and ancient landscape that makes Fuerteventura such a wonder to explore. This Volcano walk allows you to experience the island at it´s best, under the light of the setting Sun and the rising of the Full Moon. We gradually ascend, following ancient stone walls and surrounded by magnificent volcanic scenery. We walk towards the West for the setting Sun and return East for the Moon rise, unveiling hidden secrets of the culture and history as we walk.

Adéntrese en el encantador y antiguo paisaje que hace de Fuerteventura una maravilla para explorar. Este paseo por el Volcán le permite experimentar la isla en su máxima expresión, bajo la luz del Sol poniente y la salida de la Luna Llena. Ascendemos gradualmente, siguiendo antiguos muros de piedra y rodeados de magníficos paisajes volcánicos. Caminaremos hacia el Oeste por la puesta de Sol y regresaremos al Este por la salida de la Luna, desvelando secretos ocultos de la cultura y la historia mientras caminamos.

…. Join us in celebrating the cycles of our Sun and Moon!
During our walk, we’ll unveil the island’s rich tapestry of flora and fauna, delve into its captivating history, and explore its ancient culture, including astro archaeological sites. If we are lucky, we will hear the call of the Barbary Falcon as the Sun is setting!
We then begin our return journey, observing the Full Moon rising in the East. As we descend our conversation shifts to her cycles and importance in our ecosystem. And as the darkness creeps we can start to see the stars shining.
It’s an incredible opportunity to forge a deeper connection with the nature and culture of the island.
The Volcanic views speak a language of resilience, beauty, and timelessness.
DURATION: 2.5/3 hours. We start an hour before the Sunset and return in the blue hour.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Guided walk with a deliciously healthy snack and drink. Binoculars and head torches. A Laser pointer to share the visible stars.
LANGUAGE: English and/or Spanish.
HOW MANY: There is a maximum 13 people.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Water, wear walking shoes (no flip-flops), jacket (it can get windy). While not required, walking poles can be helpful for uneven terrain.
WE HAVE: Starlight Guide trained and accredited by La Fundación Starlight. Compliant Transport with Up-to-Date Licensing and & Civil Responsibility Insurance.
MEETING POINT: Meeting point is in Villaverde, or opt for transport from Corralejo, Villaverde and La Oliva ONLY. Collection from your accommodation at approximately two hours before sunset. Exact time in confirmation email.

Durante nuestro paseo, descubriremos el rico tapiz de flora y fauna de la isla, nos adentraremos en su cautivadora historia y exploraremos su antigua cultura, incluidos los yacimientos astroarqueológicos. Si tenemos suerte, ¡escucharemos la llamada del halcón de Berbería mientras se pone el Sol!
A continuación, iniciaremos el viaje de regreso, observando la salida de la Luna Llena por el Este. A medida que descendemos, nuestra conversación gira en torno a sus ciclos y su importancia en nuestro ecosistema. Y a medida que se hace de noche empezamos a ver brillar las estrellas.
Es una oportunidad increíble para forjar una conexión más profunda con la naturaleza y la cultura de la isla.
Las vistas volcánicas hablan un lenguaje de resistencia, belleza y atemporalidad.
DURACIÓN: 2,5/3 horas. Empezamos una hora antes de la puesta de sol y volvemos en la hora azul.

QUÉ LLEVAR: Agua, calzado para caminar (no chanclas), chaqueta (puede hacer viento). Aunque no son necesarios, los bastones pueden ser útiles en terrenos irregulares.
